Who doesn’t love a parade! And boy do we have a doozie for you. Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 30, 2010. This will be your chance to show your patriotism and support for our military, past and present, who have made our freedom possible.
If the 2009 parade was any indicator, the 2010 parade should have over 100 entrants of all kinds and descriptions, including marching bands, floats, balloons, horses, cars, tractors and lots of veterans.
We are looking for parade entrants, let everyone see your patriotism. This is a great opportunity for your civic club, civic organization, school organization to add to your funds. Top prize to be given for a Decorated Float is $250, second, $150 and third place will receive $100. Parade entrants will starting lining up at 2:00 p.m. at 6th Street on South Main and at 3:00 p.m. the parade will then travel North on Main to 2nd Street, east on 2nd to Jefferson and South on Jefferson to 5th Street.
Come have the time of your life and join us during the Celebration of Freedom, May 28-31, 2010, in the heart of the southwest, Hobart, Oklahoma.
